School-Age Program

School-Age Program

Our School Age Program utilizes a variety of strategies to support the development of children with autism and other developmental needs. We complete an assessment to identify each child's strengths, areas for improvement, and interests using specialized assessments like VBMAPP, ABLLS and AFLS.

We use individualized strategies, motivation, and behaviour momentum to work on social skills, communication and academics. Children learn social how to initiate conversations, take part in collaborative play and build friendships. We focus on promoting self advocacy, excutive functioning and self management skills.

As part of our holistic approach, we provide training and support to help generalize skills to the home environment. This can be done through parent coaching or consultation and will help increase cooperation in different environments.
